Desktop: Backing Up / Recalling Extensions

To back up extensions to a secondary drive in Raven Pro, from the Quick Menu of TaxSlayer Pro select:

  • E-File
  • Automatic Extension Application (Form 4868)
  • Backup Extensions – Select the drive letter assigned to your secondary drive. All of the extensions will appear in a pick list. You can select certain extensions to back up or you can back up all extensions by selecting Check All.
  • Select OK

To recall extensions that have been backed up to a secondary drive in Raven Pro, from the Quick Menu of Raven Pro select:

Recall Extensions – Select the drive letter from which to recall the extension(s). All of the extensions will appear in a pick list. You can select certain clients to recall or you can recall all clients by selecting Check All.
